A woman is dead after a crash on Highway 83 north of Rondo in Polk County.
The Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when a pickup truck ran a stop sign and stuck a vehicle driven by a 59-year-old woman from Flemington.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup and a woman that was a passenger in the victim’s vehicle were taken to a hospital in Bolivar with serious injuries.
