Woman Sentenced For Robbery Gone Wrong in 2024

A woman from Springfield has been sentenced for a robbery last year that left two people dead.

Tarrin Dicks was sentenced to 15 years in prison after entering an Alford plea on two counts of second-degree murder.

Police responded to a robbery gone wrong on East Erie Street on February 22, 2024.

Two people, 21-year-old Trevin Dicks and 19-year-old Reggie Carey, died at a Springfield hospital from gunshot wounds.

Alongside Dicks, police also named 18-year-old Isaiah Crabb as one of the suspects in the robbery.

Crabb pleaded guilty to attempted robbery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison without possibility of parole.
