Springfield City Council has unanimously approved removing the limitation on the number of permitted events that allow alcohol at its meeting Monday night.
An additional amendment would also change the alcohol limit for beer from 5% to 8% and change the alcohol metric for beer and wine from alcohol by weight to alcohol by volume.
