The Salvation Army in Springfield has announced its annual ‘Christmas in July’ Toy Drive.
TSA invites anyone in the community who can give, to give to this cause. The drive supports the Angel Tree program, which gives Christmas gifts to local children in need.
Last year’s drive helped TSA to deliver presents to more than 1,100 children within the community and assist 350 families in the area.
Those who want to donate can drop off new, unwrapped toys at these locations around Springfield:
Harry Cooper Supply Company on North Sherman Parkway.
Little Sunshine’s Playhouse of Springfield on West Chestnut Expressway.
Springfield Police Department on East Chestnut Expressway.
Springfield Police South Station on East Battlefield Road.
