A 20-year-old woman died Sunday after being crushed by a falling tree.
According to Highway Patrol, the woman was heading south on Meadowlark Drive in Springfield when a strong wind blew down a tree, falling onto her SUV and killing her.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
