From tariffs to trade, the local economy and economic and workforce development, a group of six CEO’s and community leaders joined Zimmer Midwest Communications Thursday in Springfield for our 15th CEO Roundtable.
Our panel weighed in on how optimistic they are in our local/regional economy, and how actions in Washington D-C affect businesses and their customers in Springfield, MO.
Our CEO’s spoke candidly about what we’re doing right as a community, but also some of the things that may hamper our ability to grow.
Panelists agreed we have to collaborate and work together to achieve regional growth and development and break away from some of the silos that have held us back in the past.
Thanks to the following six leaders who joined News Director Don Louzader, House Speaker Elijah Haahr, and General Manager Carla Leible over lunch for our CEO Roundtable:
Darrel Wilson—Owner of Wilson Logistics
Ursula James—Co-owner of Beautyrest Sleep Gallery
Mitch Jenkins—Founder and owner of Elevation Development Company
David Cameron—City Manager-Elect of the City of Springfield
Dwayne Fulk—President and CEO of City Utilities of Springfield
Jonas Arjes—Senior Vice President of Economic Development at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce
