Execution Date for Man Who Shot State Trooper

An execution date has been set for a man who was convicted of killing a Missouri state trooper.

The Missouri Supreme Court set the execution date for Lance Shockley of Van Buren to be October 14, 2025.

A jury found Shockley guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Sgt. Dewayne Graham outside his home in Carter County in 2005.

Graham had been investigating a fatal crash that Shockley was involved in when he shot Graham.
