Severe thunderstorms bringing up to 60 mile per hour winds and heavy rain have been moving through the Ozarks Friday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued several severe thunderstorms warnings along the I-49 corridor, and east to Barry and Lawrence Counties.
We’ve had reports of power poles snapped in Wheaton, and well over two inches of rain, with a Flash Flood Warning in effect for southwestern Jasper, western McDonald and western Newton Counties until 1:00pm Friday.
These storms should be moving out of the area from west to east Friday afternoon, with additional rain and storm chances in southwest Missouri Saturday and Sunday.
