No injuries are reported after a fire broke out at the Embassy Apartments on east Elm in Springfield Tuesday morning.
Fire Department Battalion Chief Ben Houston says the flames started in a second floor apartment and were quickly contained.
Houston says smoke filled some of the units on two floors.
The cause of that fire remains under investigation.
