Missouri Jumps In On Trump Immigration Plans

Leaders in Missouri stand ready to use state resources to help President Trump enforce immigration law as he takes office. Trump begins his next four years with a focus on taxes, foreign policy, and immigration.

Governor Mike Kehoe last week signed two executive orders that will have state and local law enforcement assisting in enforcing immigration laws.

One order has designated members of the Highway Patrol to be trained to help with investigating, arresting, and detaining illegal immigrants, working with the Department of Homeland Security. Another adds immigration status data to the state’s crime reporting system.
