The Springfield Fire Department Water Rescue team worked Sunday morning pulling a woman and her dog from a pond at a Springfield apartment complex.
It happened around 11 AM at the Lakeshore Apartments.
The woman fell into the pond trying to get the dog off of the ice before it fell in.
The woman was then transported to a Springfield hospital as a precaution.
