Helicopter Crashes in Springfield

A helicopter crashed at the downtown airport Saturday afternoon.

Springfield Police say they were notified of the crash around 3:30 p.m.

The pilot suffered minor injuries.

The Federal Aviation Administration will be taking over the investigation.
