The C-E-O and executive of the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame has resigned.
In a news release, the Sports Hall of Fame announced that Byron Shive’s tenure as Executive Director and C-E-O will end at the end of the year.
The organization’s board met Friday to discuss financial issues related to the Price Cutter Charity Championship Tournament and ongoing operations.
The annual distribution was cancelled because the money raised by the golf tournament was unavailable.
The board of directors named former executive director Jerald Andrews to be interim C-E-O.
Shive succeeded Andrew as director when he retired in 2022.
