Firefighters are battling a blaze along Glade Top Trail near Ava.
The fire started Monday night.
Forest service officials say the fire has burned more than 15-hundred acres and is now 60 per cent contained.
The fire started in downed cedar trees and timber litter, but authorities have not said how the fire started.
Forest service officials are asking the public to use alternate routes and avoid the Glade Top Trail for now.
