Several area fire departments are assisting each other with wildfires.
A Region D mutual aid system has been activated for Barry, Lawrence and McDonald Counties.
Republic, Nixa, Ozark, Ebenezer, Purdy, Logan-Rogersville, and Taney County fire departments are helping contain these fires.
They are using Cassville as a staging area.
They are advising people not to do any outside burning and to be cautious doing activities which might cause sparks that can start fires.
