Habitat For Humanity of Springfield held a Partner Homebuyer Dedication Wednesday afternoon.
The house is located at 909 West Chicago Street.
This follows the Phase 3 expansion of the Legacy Trails Neighborhood.
The owner of the new home is a widowed mother of 13 children.
This is the fourth home Habitat for Humanity has built in Springfield this year.
The non-profit says this is part of an effort to address the affordable housing shortage highlighted in the 2024 Community Focus Report.
