116 people officially became US citizens in a Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday. The event was held in the Juanita K. Hammons Hall in Springfield.
The new citizens are from 46 different countries including Chile, China, Bangladesh, and Tunisia. The Wife of comedian Yakov Smirnoff was one of the new citizens.
