Lanes Of I-44 Shut Down Over The Weekend Due To A Hole Emerging In A Bridge

Eastbound lanes of I-44 shut down Sunday morning due to a hole in a bridge at mile marker 143 near Stoutland.

Traffic was diverted at exit 140 because of the hole, which was about 4 1/2′ by 2′ in size. Crews were able to get the left lane back open by Sunday afternoon.
