Flooded Roads East of Springfield

Severe thunderstorms brought damaging winds of more than 60 miles per hour and brought flooding rains to parts of the Ozarks Thursday night.

The National Weather Service says Webster and Wright Counties had between 3 and 6 inches of rain, causing flash flooding and closing several roads.

Among the flooded out roads were Highway AB at Wolf Creek northeast of Mansfield, Highway E at the Gasconade River near Manes, and Highway Z at Elk Creek near Competition.
