Change of Venue Granted for 1 of 3 Suspects in 1989 Cold Case Murder

One of three men charged in the death of a woman back in 1989 is now being granted a change of venue.

Authorities say Leonard Banks, Wiley Belt, and Bobby Banks are all charged with first-degree murder in the death of Kelle Ann Workman back in 1989.

Workman was an employee at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery when she disappeared on June 30, 1989. Her body was later discovered in Christian County.

On Tuesday, Leonard Banks was granted a change of venue from Douglas County to Phelps County, where he will appear in court in Rolla.

He is currently being held in the Douglas County Jail. His brother, Bobby Banks, is being held in the Wright County Jail, and Belt is out on bond.
