The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down in northern Green County Monday night.
The Weather Services says that the tornado that touched down near Fair Grove was an E-F 1 tornado.
The tornado was 100 yards wide with winds of 95 miles per hour.
It was spotted five miles west of Fair Grove. It was on the ground for two miles.
