The Springfield School Board is considering changes to the district’s drug testing policy for students.
One proposal would require that students submit to drug and alcohol testing when there is reasonable suspicion to suspect the student is under the influence.
A second proposal has the same provision, but would also require random drug testing as part of participation in extracurricular activities, including athletics.
