Shooting at Chiefs Super Bowl Parade Near Union Station, Investigation Ongoing

A heavily police presence is active in downtown Kansas City following a shooting near Union Station.

According to reports, which are still coming in, shots were fired shortly after the Chiefs Super Bowl celebration concluded on the station.

At this time, reports are conflicting, but KCPD has confirmed that two armed people were taken into custody.

As many as 15 shooting victims have been reported by local news services and law enforcement in Kansas City, and one person has reportedly been killed.

A third shooting suspect has allegedly been apprehended, and a heavy police presence was seen in the area of the Westin Hotel as a fourth armed suspect was reported, but not confirmed.
