A firefighter is hospitalized after being injured while battling a fire at a church in Forsyth.
Forsyth firefighters were called to the 3:16 Church at the corner of U-S 160 and Coy Boulevard Thursday afternoon.
The church received extensive damage and the roof collapsed.
The firefighter was taken to a Springfield hospital.
Nobody was at the church at the time.
The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
