A school resource officer employed by the Camden County Sheriff’s Office is now in custody on charges of possessing child pornography.
Prosecutors say Darrin Skinner will stand trial on 14 felonies counts, including:
- Two counts of possession of child pornography
- 12 counts of second-degree promotion of child pornography
While employed by the CCSO, they began investigating Skinner in June of this year.
Deputies seized some of his electronics, including a cell phone and laptop that showed several online accounts that contained elicit images of young girls from ages two to 16.
Skinner admitted to receiving some of the images.
He is currently being held in the Camden County Jail.
