Firearm Deer Season Stats

The Missouri Department of Conservation says fewer deer were harvested during this year’s firearm portion of deer season.

This year’s total harvest was three-percent lower than last year, but two-percent higher than the previous five-year average.

The Conservation Department says that Missouri hunters harvested a total of 193,669 deer during firearms season.

The county with the biggest deer harvest was Franklin County, followed by Texas and Howell Counties.
