In another iteration of a friendly, and beneficial, competition, to Ozarks communities are trying to raise blood donations for the area.
The Mayor of Ozark, Don Currence, and Nixa Mayor Jared Gibbons, are competing to see which town cause donate the most blood.
While there is a winner and loser, both men say the most important thing is getting blood to those who need it.
Donations are open from 10:30am to 4:30pm at the First Baptist Church in Ozark, as well as Nixa City Hall.
Mayor Gibbons and Nixa have won the last three years in a row.
