Missouri State University will soon be looking for the next President of its university, with the help of a familiar face.
Rob Fulp, the managing director of Great Southern Bank, has been tabbed to help in the search for MSU’s next president.
He previously helped CoxHealth hire its new president and CEO, Max Buetow, in 2022.
Current university president Clif Smart announced earlier this year his intention to retired in 2024.
Fulp believes that due to Missouri State’s good standing, the number of interested parties should be high.
Former Board of Governors member at Missouri State University, Amy Counts, will be the vice chair for the search.
