A California man accused of crashing a boat into a house, while intoxicated at the Lake of the Ozarks is asking to appear remotely for his court date.
Attorneys for 47-year-old Adam Ramirez of Huntington Beach, California, have filed a motion to allow him to appear remotely via video on October 16 citing health concerns and travel expenses.
The Highway Patrol says seven people were injured when Ramirez ran a boat, he was piloting, aground struck a house and overturned the boat.
