Body Found in Woods near Lebanon; Investigation Underway in Laclede County

Authorities in Laclede County are investigating after a body was found in a wooded area near Lebanon.

Investigators say the body was found near the intersection of Oak Bend Drive and Oklahoma Drive northwest of Lebanon just after midnight Wednesday morning.

An autopsy is being scheduled, and the identity of the body has not been released.

Laclede County Sheriff’s deputies say the death is considered suspicious, and they are searching for a truck that may be connected to the investigation.

The truck is described as a 1994 white Ford with license plate 8WG-R11.
