National Weather Service Confirms Two EF-0 Tornadoes Monday

Two tornadoes touched down in the Ozarks early Monday morning.

The National Weather Service says a the first EF-0 tornado started at 1:25 AM near Golden City.

It produced winds of 77 miles per hour. It damaged a barn and some trees.

The National Weather Service says a second EF-0 tornado touched down near Bona in Dade County at 1:47 AM.

It produced winds of 76 miles per hour.

This tornado uprooted trees.

The severe storms early Monday caused other damage around the area.

A utility pole in Nixa was blown across Main Street.

It was cleared by 6:30 AM.

There were power outages from the Lake of the Ozarks down to north Arkansas.

The roof of a house was blown off in Brumley near the Lake of the Ozarks and a barn was destroyed near Lebanon.
