Mahomes Heads to Disneyland; Missouri Governor Honors Chiefs

Coming off of a hot Super Bowl win, MVP Patrick Mahomes is taking his family to Disneyland to celebrate.

In 2013, Mahomes made a nod to the opportunity to “Be the quarterback who says ‘I’m going to Disney World’ after winning” the big game on Twitter. Yesterday, he reposted this in a Twitter video, and now has the opportunity to follow through.

The Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night with a 38-35 victory.

Missouri’s Governor, Mike Parson, attended the game in person.

In honor of the Kansas City Chiefs big win, Governor Parson lit the capital dome in Jefferson City red.

In celebration of the @Chiefs return to the Super Bowl I have ordered the Missouri State Capitol dome to shine red.
