MO Legislature Tackles Distracted Driving

State Legislators have introduced five bills addressing the issue of distracted driving.

There are no restrictions currently on the use of cell phones by drivers 21 and older.

The bills would criminalize the use of cell phones while driving and encourage using hands-free cell phone technology.

Missouri and Montana are the only states without distracted driving laws.
