A woman from Springfield is in custody after allegedly assaulting multiple people and a dog.
Prosecutors have charged 21-year-old Heaven Lambeth with third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, first-degree trespassing and animal abuse.
Investigators say the incident occurred at a gas station on South Glenstone in September of last year, where witness say she caused a disturbance in the convenience store.
Court records show that a man with his service dog tried to calm Lambeth down, at which time she called him a racist and tried to reach for the concealed gun he had on his person.
Police say she later kicked the man’s service dog. Witnesses later reported that after she left the store, she attacked a woman in the parking lot.
The victim allowed officers to take photos of her injuries, which included bruises on her face and neck, as well as several bite marks on her chest.
