Recreational Marijuana Ruled Fit for November Ballot

You will see recreational marijuana on the statewide November ballot.

Cole County Circuit Judge Cotton Walker has tossed out a lawsuit that sought to remove the measure from the ballot. The judge ruled Joy Sweeney, the woman suing, did not prove that she is a resident of Missouri, which would have been required for the lawsuit to continue.

Walker says he would have ruled against Sweeney’s claims, even if she had proven her residency.
