Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt has charged a local business owner with defrauding his customers,
47-year-old James Enloe faces two counts of felony deceptive business practices. According to the paperwork, Enloe and his company, Enloe Exteriors, took nearly $10,000 from clients in advance.
After receiving those advances, the company completed partial or no work on the job sites, and then cut off communication with their clients completely.
Assistant Attorney General Sarah Carnes and John Grantham will prosecute the case.
