Some parts of the Ozarks have several inches of snow on the ground as a Winter Weather Advisory continues until 6:00 p.m. Friday.
The National Weather Service is reporting more than two inches of snow in Joplin as of 7:30 a.m. Friday, with 4.1 inches in Nevada, 4.0 inches in Irwin (Barton County), 4.5 inches in Warsaw, 3.5 inches in Stockton, 5.0 inches in Cole Camp (Benton County), 1.0 inch in Morrisville, and 1.0 inch in Ash Grove.
Many roads in southwest Missouri are at least partly snow covered, with generally clear roads in the southeastern Ozarks.
Forecasters say areas along and south of I-44 should get one to two inches of snow before it comes to an end by mid afternoon.
