Severe thunderstorms are becoming more likely for parts of the Ozarks Sunday evening.
The Storm Prediction Center has put the southeastern Ozarks in an “enhanced risk,” or level three, for severe storms, including all modes of severe weather.
Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and a few tornadoes will all be possible.
The Springfield metro area is in the “slight risk” area, or level two, with counties north of I-44 under a “marginal risk”, or level one, for severe weather.
Remain weather aware and have multiple ways to receive weather information and warnings.
93-3 and AM 560 KWTO will keep you up to date on any warnings issued for the Ozarks.
