A cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms to the Ozarks Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service says the chance for strong to severe storms will be greatest along and south of I-44.
Hail to the size of half dollars and damaging wind gusts will be the biggest risks, but an isolated tornado will also be possible.
Heavy rain could lead to localized flooding, mainly south of I-44, where a Flood Watch is in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday morning.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams and other low-lying and flood-prone areas.
