Potential Winter Storm To Impact Ozarks Wednesday and Thursday

More wintry weather appears to be taking aim on the Ozarks by mid-week.

The National Weather Service says conditions will deteriorate by mid afternoon into the evening on Wednesday as a wintry mix develops across southern Missouri.

Freeezing rain and sleet are likely, with hazardous driving conditions.

The weather service says a glaze to a quarter of an inch of ice are possible through Wednesday night, with additional ice accumulation on Thursday.

For most of us, we shouldn’t see a lot of snow with this system, with the exception of areas around central Missouri, where snow accumulations will be highest.
