The Missouri Senate remains in a stalemate over the controversial issue of Congressional redistricting.
The Senate met on Lincoln’s Birthday on Friday, a state holiday, and held a very rare Saturday session as a filibuster by the Senate Conservative Caucus continues.
The caucus wants a 7-1 Missouri GOP map, which was rejected by the Senate on a bipartisan 24-8 vote.
Senate President Pro Tem Dave Schatz says he’s trying to find a “magic path” to an agreement on Congressional redistricting.
Senators return to Jefferson City Tuesday afternoon.
