City Utility workers and MoDOT say with snowfall slowing down in the Ozarks, coupled with dropping temperatures overnight, many roads may be effected by ice in the overnight hours of Thursday and into Friday.
Officials have warned that with the refreezing, crews working to maintain the roadways may be slowed down, causing further driving difficulties.
The National Weather Service has urged drivers to stay off of roadways and remain at home, if at all possible.
