As part of the Springfield-Greene County Health Department’s “Stop the Surge” initiative, 50,000 masks are to be distributed to families throughout the county.
Up to 50 masks are available per family, along with what are being called “COVID-19 Care Kits” which includes a digital thermometer, tissues and hand sanitizer.
Distribution began today and can be picked up at one of five locations in Springfield, as well as five other locations throughout Greene County.
