Police say a thorough search in and around Sparta Middle School has turned up no evidence of any shots being fired.
The Sparta Police Department, Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the school Tuesday morning after getting a “shots fired” call.
School leaders placed students in lockdown, but normal activities resumed at the school after law enforcement gave the all-clear.
