A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the Ozarks late Tuesday afternoon into the evening hours.
The National Weather Service says the threat is mainly north of Interstate 44, where damaging winds up to 60 miles per hour, quarter size hail, and cloud to ground lightning will be possible.
Forecasters say scattered showers and storms should move out of the area by Wednesday evening, with slightly cooler temperatures behind the frontal passage.
Rainfall will generally be under an inch, with localized higher amounts possible north of I-44.
