A motorcyclist is dead after a Sunday afternoon crash.
Springfield police say the crash took place on Kansas Expressway near Broadmoor Street around 1 p.m.. The motorcyclist was heading south on Kansas Expressway and collided with a utility pole.
No one other than the motorcyclist was involved in the crash.
Police have withheld the victim’s identity pending informing next of kin.
