A building has collapsed on Main Street in downtown Willow Springs.
There are no reports of injuries.
The city administrator says the building, which used to house a clothing store, has been vacant for some time. The current owner planned to tear down the structure this spring.
The building was last inspected three years ago.
City leaders say they knocked on doors, because the building next doors houses apartments, but only two of the units were occupied.
The American Red Cross has assisted in getting those folks relocated, and the entire block of Main Street remained shut down by early Monday afternoon.
